Fall is quickly approaching, and the best way to make the most of the coming brisk weather is to go to the best community events! We’ve done the research, so you don’t have to! Here are our fall favorite activities near McCormick for friends and family to appreciate the changing season and get a little spooky!
October 14th – October 30th: The Poe Show
What could go wrong when a group of patients at the Sunnyvale Insane Asylum decide to put on an evening of Edgar Allan Poe’s works for the public? A lot! This kooky comedy is a unique theatrical take on many of Poe’s classics, such as “The Raven” and “The Tell-Tale Heart”.

October 14th – OktoBEEfest 2022
CALLING ALL NORTHWEST ‘BEES! LET’S CHEERS TO 80 YEARS! The Seabee Historical Foundation invites you to celebrate 2022 OktoBEEfest in Bremerton/Seattle area.
Celebrate OktoBEEfest Seabee-style with craft beer and comrades! Gather together your crew and enjoy an evening surrounded by Bees, friends, and family.

October 15th – McCormick Trivia Night Hosted By Jon Boy
Come test your trivia skills and join us in the McCormick Clubhouse for our annual Trivia Night! These are adult-only events and they are free to attend for all residents. Food and beverages will be available for purchase so come with your trivia cap on and be prepared to give it your best!

October 23rd: Sugar Skulls and Cookie Decorating at Yoked Farmhouse & Brewery
Join us in learning how to decorate sugar skulls and cookies for Dia de Muertos. All materials included. Recommended for ages 10+ (younger children are free to come and work with a parent). Come out to family and dog-friendly Yoked Farmhouse and Brewery for this workshop and enjoy the lovely pastural scenery.

October 23rd: Witch Craft – Potions and Spells Halloween Book
Add to your holiday décor with your own take on a magical book. Get into the spooky season and join your fellow witches by creating the best potion and spell book to use for Halloween night!

October 29th: Halloween Parents Night Out
Do you need a break or simply want something for the kids to do? Sign them up for Parents Night Out! This is a themed evening where your kids will play games and have fun while you go out and do the same! Appreciate the holidays while your kids are safe and sound!

October 29th – Ghost Train
Kitsap Foster Care Association’s biggest fundraiser of the year! Presented with the generous support of Kitsap Live Steamers and other community partners. Come and ride the train through the spooky park! Trick or treat booths in the park, but no food sales this year. Thanks for supporting Kitsap kids in care!

October 31st – McCormick Halloween 2nd Annual Costume Parade (open to all ages)
The McCormick masterplanned parade will kick off at the entrance to the Dunmore neighborhood at 5:00 p.m., so please be there and ready to march by the top of the hour. All adults and kiddos are welcome to join as parade participants or spectators! The more, the merrier!
