As the Washington rain returns and the leaves begin to change to their seasonal orange and yellow hues, our McCormick Community is embracing everything this Pacific Northwest autumn has to offer. With endless activities, there’s no reason to stay indoors, just grab a coat and explore!
Kicking off the new season with our 2nd Annual Pumpkin Walk was the perfect way to get into the spooky spirit and keep active on our trails. Positioned along Big Pond Trail entrance from Deer Park to the Ledum Loop, dozens of decorated pumpkins lined our path making this already stunning stroll one to remember.
Hosted by our Community Life Committee in the McCormick Homeowner’s Association, this event was smashingly fun to see put into action for the second year in a row. Residents of the McCormick community were encouraged to decorate their pumpkins for a chance to win prizes, determined by a panel of judges as well as their fellow neighbors. These spectacular pumpkins remained along the trail until October 31st.
The following were the categories being judged, there were so many outstanding creations this year, we are so proud and amazed by the creative talent of the McCormick Community!
