Building Community: Pacific Lifestyle Homes Unveils the Giving House

In the newest addition to McCormick, the McCormick Trails community, Pacific Lifestyle Homes is proudly unveiling a unique and special home: the Community Giving House. This isn’t just any house, but a project with a clear mission to help support the local community surrounding McCormick’s community.

The proceeds of this Giving House, on lot 247, will go towards 3 local nonprofit charities: The Coffee Oasis, Kitsap Homes of Compassion, and Kitsap Helpline. During the ribbon-cutting event, representatives from each organization spoke about their cause and why the Giving House is an amazing initiative for our overall community.

The Coffee Oasis is an organization helping troubled youth regain their footing with youth programing such as mentorship, school outreach, job training, and shelter.

Kitsap Homes of Compassion is working on eliminating homelessness within Kitsap County. Their goal is to create affordable, long-term housing for people who are experiencing homelessness.

South Kitsap Helpline’s goal is to eliminate hunger within the Kitsap Community by working in partnership with individuals, small businesses, grocery stores, civic groups, schools, and churches across the Port Orchard community.

The Owner of Pacific Lifestyle Homes, Kevin Wann, spoke on this project and said, “We are thankful to be in a position where we are able to give back and help others. We are so appreciative of our valued trade partners who have bought into this idea. We want to make a difference in the lives of families in the communities we build in.”

Since 2014, Pacific Lifestyle Homes and their trade partners have constructed over 15 Giving Houses, with all proceeds from these homes donated to local charities. These charities are dedicated to enhancing the health, wellness, and sustainability of the growing Kitsap County area.
